The World agrees to negotiate a "historic" treaty to combat plastic pollution.
World leaders concluded the fifth United Nations Environment Assembly on Wednesday with a promise to the world: By 2024, delegates will negotiate a binding international treaty that addresses the full life cycle of plastics. To read more click here.

The AAA recycles Christmas trees in their composting plant in Mayagüez
Spokesman article where the director of the Aqueduct and Sewerage Authority (AAA) in the western region, engineer Eric Rosa, reported that they are receiving natural Christmas trees at the compost plant located in Mayagüez, to be recycled and used in the production of this soil conditioner.
